Why is testing important?

When it comes to CBD, the industry is still very much in its infancy. And as more hemp-related products hit the market, it's important for you to be able to trust and understand exactly what you’re buying.

Building trust

The first, and possibly most important, test run on a hemp product is the cannabinoid yield test. This test tells you how much of each cannabinoid is included in the full spectrum product. This is how you know whether or not a product is telling you the truth when it says a certain amount of CBD is included with each dose. On top of knowing how much CBD is included, you’ll see amounts of CBG, THC, and more.

Our testing procedure

Our products are routinely tested to an ISO17025 international standard for testing cannabinoids in a laboratory in the UK. The results are then independently verified by a laboratory in the US.

One of the techniques the laboratory uses in testing is called Solid Phase Micro Extraction (SPME) and is leading the field when it comes to Cannabinoid analysis. It enables full-spectrum analysis of compounds found naturally occurring in hemp, which includes CBD levels. We also test for microbial content to make sure our products are safe.

Test certification

We contract the Globally recognised Laboratory, Eurofins, to provide independent Laboratory Analysis for our Multi Complex Hemp CBD products.

Eurofins are the world leaders in testing across a range of sectors, with 940 laboratories in 59 countries. They provide the highest quality of service with accurate results, which is why we choose to use them to test our products.
